Mashable announces launch on Verizon's go90

Ahead of its NewFront presentation on Friday, Mashable announced a partnership with Verizon’s streaming platform, go90. Mashable will provide two of its original series – Scamalot, with comedian James Veich, and clip-show Trailer Mix, with more content to come this summer.

“More than half of Mashable's audience now consumes our content on smartphones, and as we continue to evolve our video offering through Mashable Studios, go90 will be an important partner in distributing that content to a mobile audience,” said Adam Ostrow, Chief Strategy Officer.“

“As consumers view more content on mobile devices, we are well positioned with partners like Mashable to deliver high-quality original content,” said Brian Angiolet, SVP of Consumer Product and Marketing at Verizon. “Together we’re able to produce and distribute content in a way that matches today’s mobile viewer expectation.”

Mashable is now partnering with more than one of the major media conglomerates. Turner recently lead a $15 million investment in the company .
