The Drum promotes Adam Libonatti-Roche to head of social
The Drum has promoted community manager Adam Libonatti-Roche to the newly created position of head of social.
In the role, Libonatti-Roche will help The Drum continue to expand the reach and presence of its full range of products and services across social media channels.
Having joined The Drum in April 2015, Libonatti-Roche has grown direct communications with the publication's readers through its platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and now Instagram. He also runs the regular Social Buzz Chat Twitter Q&A sessions, answering community questions on social media topics and hosting his own YouTube interview series as well.
"Adam has been highly enthusiastic in his championing of social media within the business and developing the knowledge of how it can best be used across The Drum's various departments. It only makes sense that we let him lead the brand's social media strategy as we continue to grow," said Stephen Lepitak, editor of The Drum.
In his new role, Libonatti-Roche will report to recently appointed chief marketing officer, Phil Buxton.
