In one of its first big moves since Univision became the sole operator of Fusion, the network announced that it would be beefing up its election coverage with a new show from The Young Turks, a multiplatform news network that has attracted a loyal following,

Reporters from both The Young Turks and Fusion will travel to college campuses around the country to take the temperature of young people ahead of the election. The Young Turks, which has generated over three billion total views on its YouTube channel and Facebook page, broke several of its own streaming records during this past primary season with its on-the-ground reporting.

“FUSION’s goal is to continue elevating the issues that matter to this diverse, emerging generation of young people. The Young Turks and their distinct, passionate voices will be a valuable addition to our coverage of this unconventional and consequential election cycle,” said Daniel Eilemberg, Co-President and Chief Content Officer for FUSION. “We are excited to hit the road this fall to engage college students from across the country, providing them with a platform to make their voices heard.”

The show, which will run for 12 weeks beginning the week of September 5, will be hosted by Ana Kasparian and John Iadarola and broadcast in front of a live audience. The Young Turks founder Cenk Uygur will also make appearances.
