Lufthansa plays on England’s rivalry with Germany in Euro 2016 ad

German national airline Lufthansa has taken a quirky approach to the on-the-pitch rivalry between England and Germany in its Euro 2016 ad campaign.

It sees two England supporters discover they are booked upon a Lufthansa flight, exclaiming: “We’re flying with the Germans?!”

Initially the duo are faced with all the traditional German elements you’d expect before a young Germany fan smugly gloats about the score the last time the nations met.

This emerges to be a dream sequence, followed by a snappy bit of humour. Check it out below.
