Breckenridge Tourism drives UK awareness with Digital Visitor

North American destination marketing organization (DMO) Breckenridge Tourism has retained Digital Visitor as its social media agency.

Simon Jones is client services director at Digital Visitor.

Specialising in driving targeted awareness for international destinations on social media, Digital Visitor aims to further raise the profile of Breckenridge in the UK and drive increased traffic to the GoBreck website. The agency’s activity will include the creation and management of a UK Facebook presence for Breckenridge, as well as ongoing work with influencers and a targeted social media advertising campaign.

Rooted in a colourful history of gold mining and adventure, Breckenridge is one of the largest historic districts in the state of Colorado and is home to some of the most popular ski resorts in the US.

Jessie Unruh, content marketing manager at Breckenridge Tourism Office, said: “We were thrilled with the success of our last campaign with Digital Visitor. And we’re hoping that our ongoing partnership will continue to yield exceptional results for Breckenridge, building on the groundwork laid in 2015 and growing our UK presence into 2016 and beyond.”
