ReFUEL4 takes home creativity award at Facebook’s Innovation Spotlight

This year, Facebook is honoring the technology platforms and services that help companies effectively advertise on the social network with its Innovation Spotlight awards.

Data-driven creative platform ReFUEL4 was one of three companies to take home Innovation Spotlight’s creativity award this year, which honors companies who deliver quality content and creative at scale. The other two winners were crowdsourcing studio Tongal and visual content firm Shuttlerock.

Entries were judged upon “client results, uniqueness, the size of the markets the tool is available to and scalability,” according to Facebook. Later this year, Facebook will announce the winners of the ‘real results’ award and the ‘personalized marketing at scale’ award.

ReFUEL4 works with companies including Spotify and (creators of Candy Crush), leveraging its global design pool of more than 10,000 multimedia design professionals who provide “rapid results at scale.” According to ReFUEL4, the company produces 5,000-8,000 ads per month and designers can turn around a brief in 48-72 hours.

The company can also track and predict ad performance, giving advertisers the opportunity to change their creative mid-campaign. ReFUEL4 operates on a pay-for-performance basis, meaning ads that do not perform are not charged.

Daphne Nguyen, user acquisition manager of Glu Mobile, creators of Kim Kardashian’s mobile game, said of ReFUEL4: “ReFUEL4 is head and shoulders above the industry. It is a painless creative process, and we continually receive quality insights that help us with strategy improvement.”

Headquartered in Singapore, ReFUEL4 also has offices in London, Tokyo and San Francisco. According to the company, it has 30 employees globally, with half of them based in Singapore.
