With another Weird Week concluded its time again to reflect on the oddest marketing and advertising news.

1. Derren Brown unleashed a creepy demon upon unsuspecting workers at Thorpe Park.

2. Greenpeace UK affixed gas masks onto London’s most famous statues in a clean air protest.

3. And the Boaty McBoatface saga came to an end. It won the online poll but Nerc researchers don’t seem keen to give the £200m ship such a stupid name.

You can watch this week's Weird Week above, and check out last week's here, it featured xHamster’s North Carolina ban, upsetting gingers and a town called Minions asking for its minions sign back.
