That's where joiz Group comes in, a SaaS platform that has created a solution for TV marketers to better track and grow the social TV world we live in. Found Remote interviewed Cofounder and CEO Alexander Mazzara about how their platform works and their plans for the future.
Found Remote: How has joiz evolved?
Alexander Mazzara: I think we’ve evolved alongside our technology. I think joiz Global recognised the potential for a platform and range of services which could create new forms of entertainment and interaction for consumers and opportunities for advertisers, partners and licensees. We’ve built a connected community of viewers and users around our television brands, learnt how they engage with the technology and how they become loyal, responsive users. This has enabled joiz Global to develop and offer a wide range of proven, effective products and services for our partners.
FR: How have you created a SaaS platform for TV marketers? What are highlights of the platform?
AM: The joiz Global platform provides a truly flexible, seamless and comprehensive range of services for anybody looking to harness the potential of video content in their marketing. The platform was designed and built from the ground up, converging TV, video and online. Developed and used as the basis of our own TV services, joiz Global can offer a proven range of cloud-based and bespoke solutions as well as professional management services. The highlight is probably the simplicity with which we can apply the joiz technology to provide clients with a total solution to manage video content, social media, community marketing and smart data.
Our partners INSIGHT provide a good example of how our SaaS technology can be applied. INSIGHT is a factual entertainment channel launched last October, broadcasting in Ultra High Definition. It’s both a linear and nonlinear channel and features original content. Launched by Netherlands-based broadcaster and producer TV Entertainment Reality Network (TERN), the channel is available in 60 million homes throughout Europe and India. INSIGHT utilises joiz Global technology across its online, broadcast and mobile platforms, delivering content and new ways for viewers to interact with its shows and with each other. The technology also allows INSIGHT to collect, analyse and utilise their audience data.
FR: You also operate TV networks, how does that fit into your business?
AM: joiz created Europe’s first social TV channels. We know from rich experience how to engage audiences with a whole range of community marketing innovations. We know how to develop content and build audience interactions; how to manage data and how to develop opportunities for utilising it. This experience is a cornerstone of the business when working with our partners - alongside our technology, it helps them to simplify and hone their own digital strategies.
FR: What are your plans for the future?
AM: I’d like to look beyond the more obvious or expected fields in which our technology could be used to engage consumers. At joiz Global, we’re exploring and developing ideas that can be used by any number of industries and businesses. This not only includes broadcasters and production companies but also online video platforms, celebrities, sports personalities and event clients such as festivals and venues. Any company or organisation that wants to harness its relationship with its consumers could benefit from the joiz Global technology.
