Yellow Pages France (Pages Jaunes for those gifted with the lingo) has launched an eccentric interactive video overlapping musician Breakbot’s latest single ‘My Toy’ –that tells the lengths one group of women went to create a male sex bot.

A music video activation carrying the hashtag #BreakbotxYellowPages from Sid Lee Paris puts the craftsmen and workers who helped create the film front and centre, helping to build the proposition that the brand helps connect the public with specialists.

Spotted by AdWeek, the interactive video (experience it here), links viewers with almost 40 mini docs putting on the record how the surreal slot was put together.

Sid Lee managing director and partner Johan Delpuech told AdWeek that the slot could help attract millennials to using the directory, which enjoys a strong presence in France via its print, online and app offerings.

The slot piggybacks a trendy and intriguing music video while also telling the stories of the many craftsmen involved in its creation, from the keeper of a three metre boa constrictor to the costume designers, all involved are put from and centre.

Below is the vanilla video as it appears on YouTube. Access the interactive version here.
