Twitter Moments gets a musical makeover thanks to SoundCloud integration
Music fans can now listen to tracks uploaded by brands and publishers on Twitter's Moments service, as the social network pushes "seamless integration" with the audio platform.
Twitter already supports SoundCloud posts within ordinary tweets via its Cards format, but this new addition means those with access to create Moments will be able to share entire playlists within tweets which will automatically play as users swipe through Moments on mobile.
To showcase the new tool, media owners Thump, Vibe and Stereogum have each launched playlists.

SoundCloud support will initially be included on the Today and Entertainment tabs within Moments. While other areas like News and Sports each have their own tab it's not yet known whether Twitter will eventually announce a dedicated Music section.
12 hours of new content are shared each minute on SoundCloud, which recently inked a licensing deal with Sony Music ahead of its $9.99 a-month subscription service launch.
