Barham takes on the role of head of paid media, while Bath is business development director. Both bring their extensive knowledge in PPC and strategy to the agency, having worked with brands such as John Lewis, the BBC, P&O Cruises and the Post Office.

Barham will sharpen the agency’s paid media proposition, working on several aspects from scalable automation through media and technology capabilities, all the way to the development of cross-media and consumer-centric strategies. Bath, who will focus on developing new partnerships, added: “My main mission is to identify businesses who value everything that we stand for; digital expertise simplified, a thirst for excellence and above all, an open and trustworthy relationship.”

Barham and Bath both worked with Roast’s chief executive Bishop at Steak as head of PPC and group account director respectively.

Bishop, added, “At the heart of our agency’s core is Return On Ad Spend for our clients. Having worked with both Kate and John closely for many years, I’ve witnessed them deliver this through a wealth of experience and, most importantly, passion.”

Roast launched last year and the expanded management team reflects the speed at which the business has grown in that time, with advertisers such as Unibet, Camelot and Best at Travel already on its books.
