SNL alum Maya Rudolph is starring in a new campaign for eco-friendly household products company Seventh Generation.

The campaign, called ‘Come Clean,’ was created by 72andSunny’s New York office and is the first work the agency has created for Seventh Generation since winning the business last year.

In the funny spots, the ‘Bridesmaids’ star pokes fun at both herself (“Surprise, I do my own laundry sometimes”) and the strange names, smells and dyes that can be found in common household cleaning products.

“What’s up with these fragrances? Fiji Funk, Cabo Clean, Siberian Sunbeam?” she says in one spot as she points to dish soaps, detergents, and cleaning sprays that look like many of the products consumers have become accustomed to seeing in store aisles.

In ‘Weird Dyes,’ she makes fun of the ‘laser beam blue’ and ‘spray tan orange’ hues of many cleaning products before asking, “what do any of these coo-coo colors have to do with clean?” She then goes on to tout Seventh Generation’s “natural products that really clean” before proclaiming that its dish soap is “clear as an angel’s giggle.”

Rudolph, who is a mother of four, actually uses Seventh Generation’s products, according to 72andSunny.
