Chelsea Peretti and Jordan Peele lead Booking.com’s newest campaign from W+K Portland

(Very) funny comedians and actors Chelsea Peretti and Jordan Peele are tying the knot — and Booking.com has released a new campaign fictionalizing the beautiful couple’s real-life wedding. “Jordan & Chelsea’s Booking Wedding,” created by Portland-based Wieden+Kennedy, is an episodic campaign that debuts this weekend during the iHeartRadio Music Awards and American Country Music Awards.

The first 30-second spot, “Destination Wedding,” has the couple deciding on where to hold their destination wedding. Yurt (my guess is that one was filmed in Oregon, plenty of yurts here) makes way to the more exotic choice of island getaway.

“Beach Booty” is a 15-second romp of the couple working towards getting, er, “beach booties” for the big day — or not.

“We loved the idea of blurring fact and fiction,” said Peretti, of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. “It was fun to create a heightened world based around our real wedding,” added Peele, co-creator of Key & Peele.

The campaign continues with six additional spots and content across digital and social channels and, as the story builds through the spring and summer, the happy couple’s celebrity friends will be introduced to the adventure.

Though I have no inside skinny on this, consider putting money on the following appearances: Andy Samberg (who Peretti admitted a childhood crush on Conan), Keegan-Michael Key (please) and Terry Crews (we hope).
