Reebok wants you to stamp Xenomorphs in Ripley-style Alien trainers
Reebok has partnered with 20th Century Fox to bring Sigourney Weaver’s alien-stomping sneakers to an exclusive few.
Aliens protagonist Ellen Ripley tackled the Xenomorph swarm all while wearing a pair of heavy duty space-age boots and Reebok has recreated the design in a new limited line paying homage to James Cameron’s sci-fi blockbuster.
The marketing activity and partnership has been initiated just in time for Alien day (26/4), a bit of a push to reference planet LV-426, otherwise known as Calpamos, where the movie largely unfolds.
The promotion largely emulate that of Back to the Future day (21 October 2015) which saw Nike recreate Marty McFly’s self-tying sneakers just in time for its 30th anniversary.
