Social Buzz Show: Digital Blonde's Karen Fewell on how climbing Kilimanjaro led to a career in social

The most recent episode of The Drum's weekly Social Buzz seen Digital Blonde founder Karen Fewell sit down with The Drum's community manager Adam Libonatti-Roche.

Fewell disucssed how climbing Kilomanjiro led to a career in social, as well as touching on the love-hate relationship between food and social media.

"Probably the first time I really saw the benefit [of social], was when I climbed Kilimanjaro and did a big fundraiser," she said.

"I used storytelling techniques and social to raise £8500 - and then I realised that social is actually quite powerful because that was the only way that I really did any fundraising."
