Yard appoints Richard Falconer, formerly of DigitasLBi, as head of SEO

Data, content and innovation agency Yard has appointed of Richard Falconer as its new head of SEO.

Richard Falconer has joined Yard in Edinburgh.

Previously head of SEO at DigitasLBi, Falconer joins Yard with over 10 years of SEO experience under his belt, working for clients such as Skype, BBC and Marriott. For the last seven years, he has led search teams focused on areas such as technical SEO, content and outreach. Falconer is also an experienced speaker, having presented at conferences such as SMX and Brighton SEO.

Reporting to Ian Daniels, Yard’s head of digital, Falconer is will work with Yard’s clients and internal teams to help deliver search performance and expand the company’s client base.

Daniels said: “Following recent investment and a period of growth with many exciting new client wins, we are delighted to welcome Richard to the team. Richard has an outstanding and in-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels and his appointment reflects our focus on recruiting exceptional talent to Yard.”
