Furniture manufacturer and retailer Sofa Workshop has appointed krow as its lead creative agency.

Sofa Workshop has twenty stores across the UK.

krow will work closely with Sofa Workshop chief executive Paul Staden and his team, with responsibility for the strategic and creative development of the brand.

Staden said of the appointment: “Starting 2016 with a new creative agency shows our ambition for the Sofa Workshop brand. We were looking for the right creative partners to work closely with us as we enter an exciting new phase in our development, and as soon as we met krow we knew there was no need to call a pitch.”

Malcolm White, founder of krow, said: “We knew that Sofa Workshop were a great brand with an unbelievable range of fabrics. What we didn’t know, but we do now, is that they are a great team with exciting plans, and we’re delighted to be part of those plans.”

Sofa Workshop, which has twenty stores across the UK, was acquired in 2014 by the DFS group.

Independent communications agency krow’s clients include Ferrero UK, Fiat, Virgin Trains, Paypal, Unilever and Le Creuset and H Bauer.
