The Drum has partnered with IBM Interactive Experience to create a series of films during Mobile World Congress exploring how mobile is fundamentally changing the way businesses operate and how consumers engage with them.

On day one of MWC, the world’s largest mobile trade show, The Drum talked to a range of industry leaders about mobile transformation.

Each year, what seems like the entire mobile industry descends on Barcelona for a week of high level talks, networking, deal making and partnership formation. Almost every big brand and technology company you have ever heard of, from across the globe, is here.

The Drum is talking to the leaders of some of these companies to gain insight into how they are using mobile to transform their business.

Mobile transformation is on the agenda of every company and The Drum wanted to hear from those at the forefront of this shift to understand the rationale behind this strategic shift.

Discussing how true mobile transformation can most effectively be achieved are Ronan Dunne, Chief Executive of O2; Charaka Kithulegoda, CIO of Canada’s Tangerine Bank; and Matt Candy, European Leader of IBM Interactive Experience.
