BT Sport launches #ChampionsDraw competition in lead up to Champions League final
BT Sport has launched a competitive ad campaign for the run up to the Champions League final which will see a small group of artists compete against each other in a knock-out stage tournament for a place at the final in Milan.
A total of five illustrators- Dan Leydon, Dave Will, Scott McRoy, Dave Merrell and David Flanagan – will compete with one another in the #CHAMPIONSDRAW' for the chance to create artwork which will be used to promote the UEFA Champions League Final on 28 May at the San Siro.
Each artist has been given a set fixture to draw a commemorative poster for and the piece which receives the least number of likes will be knocked-out of the competition.
The competition is part of BT Sports’ promotional efforts for the Champions League which took from Sky Sports and ITV after paying £897m for a three-year deal to show every game in tournament as well as the Europa League.
