Former Adidas America and Nike execs join Keen for global growth

Keen, Inc. announced two new hires as the company positions itself for international growth.

The Portland, Oregon-based footwear and clothing brand named Rob Langstaff as vice president of the international division while Christy Saito has been tapped as vice president of global product merchandising for the outdoor and lifestyle division.

"This is a pivotal time in Keen's history," said Keen President Steve Meineke, in a news release. "With Christy's focus and understanding of Keen's existing and new fans, and Rob's track record with growing global brands, we will continue to build on these insights to create meaningful product lines that will excite consumers and change the marketplace in the U.S. and around the world."

Langstaff served as president of Adidas America in 2006 and was senior vice president at Brooks Running, based in Seattle, where he focused on Asia and Latin America.

Saito has 17 years of experience including as global vice president of merchandising and product at Crocs, as the business grew to over $1bn in annual sales, and as part of Nike’s global footwear business.
