Creative consultancy 360 has merged with online marketing specialist NEU to form NEU Digital Innovation Studio, based in Glasgow.

MacLennan and Sunderland are the major shareholders at NEU.

Jamie Sunderland (formerly of 360) joins the new agency as strategy director, joining NEU founder and creative director, Grant MacLennan, as a major shareholder. MacLennan founded NEU in 2015 after two years at Glasgow's largest web development agency, Equator.

MacLennan said: “It was immediately obvious that Jamie and I both shared a deep interest for developing ground-breaking digital products. With some high-profile campaigns under our belts, the time was right to combine our experience and have a studio that creates, experiments and launches products people actually want.”

Sunderland said: “There are three clear strands to the NEU's business model - NEU Thinking which deals with work-shopping new ideas and directions, NEU Works which prototypes new products for clients and NEU Ventures, our own suite of innovative digital products for news curation and the music sector."

NEU clients include Barclaycard, Virgin, Warner Bros, Universal Music and Tennent’s. To mark its relaunch, NEU is seeking to attract new clients in the run up to Valentine's Day with a dating-style app called Perfect Match, which goes live online from Wednesday 10 February.
