Denstu Aegis Network trading desk Amnet has promoted Joshua Lee as platforms and technology lead as it seeks to grow its programmatic capabilities in Asia.

Lee was previously platforms and technology director at Dentsu Aegis Singapore but now moves to a wider role, joining the Amnet Asia management team. He will work alongside John Thankamony, head of operations and analytics, Marc Langenfeld, regional account director, and Mandar Kambli, publisher development lead, of which the latter two were recent hires for the business.

Anna Chan, managing director at Amnet Asia, said: “Joshua has a deep knowledge and understanding of the ad tech ecosystem that we know will be a significant addition to the brand’s innovative DNA and offerings in the region. His extensive experience in digital media will be a boost to our Asia Pacific expansion plans.”

Lee’s responsibilities include driving innovation in programmatic at the agency, as well as driving platform strategies and the assessment, adoption and measurement of various DSP and DMP platforms.

“The programmatic media landscape is rapidly evolving alongside the use and abundance of client-owned data, the essential ingredient that makes it so effective,” said Lee.

He will continue to be based out of the Denstu Aegis Singapore office.
