Brent Hoberman, one of the UK’s earliest digital pioneers, and Simon Andrews, formerly the digital chief at Mindshare, have been unveiled as the members of the advisory board of London-based start-up Tamaco, as it also names fellow industry veteran Rune Bromer, as its COO.

Hoberman (pictured) who co-founded lastminute.com, will join Andrews, who also co-founded Addictive Mobile, join the board of the location-based outfit as it gears up for their Series A round of investment in Q2 2016.

The outfit was founded by entrepreneur Sam Amrani, and offers location and proximity-based targeting to brands and advertisers, with new COO Bromer charged with scaling the team ahead of its proposed funding round.

Amrani added: “It’s always a huge confidence booster to have such industry leading figures such as Simon and Brent show such faith…. 2016 looks set to be an exciting year, and we’re confident that we’ve now got the right team and right support to achieve our goals.”
