Avowed Adele fan Donald Trump has been snubbed by the singer after her spokesperson confirmed to the Independent that ‘Adele has not given permission for her music to be used for any political campaigning.’

The decision means that Trump is blocked from pumping out hit tunes such as ‘Skyfall’ and ‘Rolling in the Deep’ to rouse supporters after previously pumping out the crowd pleasing tune to warm-up supporters with lines such as ‘we could have had it all’.

Whilst this musical accompaniment went down well at the rallies it was less well received amongst Adele fans elsewhere, with many angered at the implied endorsement by the singer.

It is fair to say that the singer is unlikely to be a Trump acolyte having previously declared herself to be a ‘Labour girl’ in 2011 although she has maintained a diplomatic silence on her political leanings ever since.
