WPP’s GreyHealth Group acquires mobile app firm The Lathe

GreyHealth Group (GHG) is acquiring mobile app developer and digital design firm The Lathe.

According to WPP, the acquisition is part of the holding company’s strategy of “investing in digital and important disciplines such as healthcare in the US.”

New York-based The Lathe, which specializes in US healthcare, works with clients including pharmaceutical company Bayer, consultancy firm Health Brand Group, and Roche.

It was founded in 2003 and focuses on “helping healthcare organizations utilize technologies to connect patients, caregivers and professionals” according to its website.

GHG is part of WPP’s branding & identity, healthcare and specialist communications group.
