The Drum begins to trade programmatically with Chalk Social appointment

The Drum has announced an exclusive partnership with UK agency Chalk Social Publisher Desk to manage and implement all of its ad operations and programmatic strategy.

The appointment process took place over a two month period and the successful appointment of Chalk Social will allow The Drum to trade programmatically over all platforms and in all territories.

Andy Oakes, managing director of The Drum, said ‘Chalk Social Publisher Desk were the obvious choice to win the business. A combination of a shared vision, company culture and digital innovation were the deciding factor. As the organiser of the Digital Trading Awards which promotes transparency and clarity in this market, choosing the right partner was a very important decision for us and one we did not take lightly.

As part of this expansion The Drum is now seeking a revenue performance manager.
