Ben Hyde joins Impero as head of film

Digital creative agency Impero has absorbed the film unit of content agency Live Creative.

Live Creative's founder and managing director, Ben Hyde, joins Impero as client partner and head of film. He will work across the agency’s portfolio of existing clients while building Impero’s content and production capabilities.

Michael Scantlebury, founder and creative director of Impero, said: “We’re excited to bring Live Creative under our fold. For content to cut through it has to be at the cutting edge, both creatively and technologically, which is exactly what Live brings to Impero.”

Prior to joining Impero, Ben was managing director at Live Creative for twelve years, creating content for brands including Ford, Arcadia Group and Very.co.uk.

Impero has invested heavily in developing its senior team over the past six months, bringing on board Jey Bernal as head of social, Daniel Deeks-Osburn as strategy director, and Alexandra Trevor and Neil Higton as client partners since June 2015. The digital creative agency has also secured new clients including Beefeater Gin and Campo Viejo wine over in the last twelve months.
