Bournemouth-based ad agency Thinking Juice has promoted from within following the recent departure of its founder.

Andy Thomson, a 13-year veteran with the agency, has been tapped as managing director to lead the direction of the agency and its array of national and international clients, including Barbour, Westfield, uSwitch, Wyke Farms and Del Monte.

Thomson most recently held the role of client services director and will be replaced by current group account director, Gemma Hartwell.

Thomson commented: “I’m delighted with the appointment and extremely pleased to have a board and wider team of highly experienced and talented individuals in the business who share the same passion and vision.

“Fortunately there’s also an extensive creative talent pool in Bournemouth, which is great because we have ambitious growth plans. I know it’s going to be an incredible 2016 and beyond for Thinking Juice.”

The agency has been classed as the UK’s Best in Advertising, Effectiveness, Strategy and Best on Budget by the Recommended Agency Register (RAR).
