Irish cider brand Magners is seeking to cement the age-old link between alcohol and dating by releasing a tongue-in-cheek dating app for lovelorn hipsters –Tinster.

Produced by Host Singapore the campaign features an online film and microsite to hook up lonely glockenspiel artists, facial hair aficianados and those with a passion for ironic vintage jumpers.

There like-minded individuals can connect with each other in advance of the highlight of any self-respecting hipster’s diary – the Laneway festival.

Volunteers/guinea pigs who sign-up as ‘beta testers’ via the Tinster microsite will be paired up and also entered into a draw for free tickets to the festival, which takes place on 30 January.
