Typhoo, the 112-year old tea brand, has premiered its first ever digital ad campaign in a move which will give it presence on a host of popular websites before separate YouTube and VoD campaigns are rolled out.
This will be reinforced by a traditional television campaign starring Nigella Lawson - revealed last week - which will feature on ITV, ITVB Sky, Channel 4 and Channel 5. To maximise impact a regional bus campaign is also in the offing.
This amounts to the largest marketing campaign to be mounted by the firm in recent years as it seeks to modernise its image and appeal to a new generation of caffeine fans.
Curated by Mediareach the digital advertising campaign will launch on Friday.
Saad Saraf, chief executive at Mediareach said: “Mediareach has been successfully looking after Typhoo’s Media Account for four years and there is a great synergy between the brand and our agency, we understand the business and hence are able to deliver successful campaigns that are spot on. We have developed a unique digital strategy that will also reach, engage and entertain Typhoo’s Internet savvy customer base.”
