McCann Worldgroup exec reshuffle sees Bill Kolb promoted to president of diversified agencies

McCann Worldgroup has promoted Bill Kolb, chairman and CEO of its Detroit-based Commonwealth agency, to the new role of president of diversified agencies where he will be charged with growing the company’s disciplines in key areas including data, analytics and media.

Kolb joined the McCann family more than 15 years ago as president of its event marketing and promotion agency Momentum. He then went on to hold a number of senior level positions at MRM/McCann before becoming chairman and CEO of Commonwealth, the Worldgroup agency that handles the global GM account, in 2013.

His appointment is part of a string of promotions that McCann Worldgroup has announced, including Lori Feld’s promotion to the new role of president of MRM/McCann North America. She is currently president of MRM/McCann West.

Devika Bulchandani, president of the Worldgroup shop that handles MasterCard’s global marketing efforts, will now serve as managing director of McCann New York. She replaces Steve Zaroff, who will now serve as chief strategy officer of McCann North America.
