Social TV week in review: Bachelor Ben Higgins had Twittersphere in a frenzy

Last week saw the return of the 20th season of social TV juggernaut, The Bachelor, and viewers can’t get enough of Ben Higgins. According to Canvs, the only qualitative social TV solution, 13 per cent of all emotional reactions to Ben Higgins on Twitter last week were about his beauty.

MTV has been getting a lot of negative press of late, but on the scripted series front, they have two winners with the long-popular Teen Wolf and the new Shannara Chronicles – 19 per cent of all reactions to the latter expressed excitement for the series.

Below, some additional insights from Canvs followed by an infographic:

· Step Up costars (and couple) Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum inspired 18,122 Reactions on the Season 2 premiere of Lip Sync Battle.

· 4 per cent of all Reactions to the Shades of Blue premiere expressed being addicted.

· Viewers thought the Teen Mom OG premiere was craziest when Farrah gave her daughter $600 for losing a tooth.
