Jeremy Corbyn brands David Cameron a ‘pie’ in Twitter ‘hack’

A stream of expletive-laden tweets and derogatory remarks levelled at prime minister David Cameron emanating from the official Twitter account of Jeremy Corbyn have been blamed on a ‘hack’ by the Labour leader.

The weekend outburst saw messages including ‘davey Cameron is a pie’ and ‘f*** Trident’ pour forth from the account, racking up some 2,000 retweets apiece from enthusiastic followers before being hastily deleted.

Another out of character missive read: “Here we… here we… here we f***ing go!!!”

A total of four messages were posted from the account to Corbyn’s 384,000 followers before control of the account was regained.
