Oliver Group appoints Sharon Whale as UK CEO

Oliver Group has appointed Sharon Whale as its new UK CEO as part of a management shake-up which will see existing CEO Simon Martin move to the role of chairman and global CEO.

Martin will be tasked with delivering growth internationally whilst supporting further UK growth whilst Whale will be tasked with overseeing the UK end of the business; including digital agency Dare, Aylesworth Fleming and Marketing Matters.

Whale’s past experience includes a stint at Proximity where she secured client wins including Seat, VWCV, Guide Dogs and The Telegraph whilst refocussing the business toward performance marketing

Martin said: “This is the next stage in Oliver Group’s exciting evolution, as we build a global market leader for the 21st century. We have a unique proposition, a brilliantly energetic and passionate team, and the desire to build something special.
