It's that time of the year and by "that" I don't mean holiday season - rather, it's time for three straight weeks of year-end lists from publishers (guilty as charged), social networks, and you name it.

Facebook last week released its own year in review and Ed Sheeran was the most talked-about entertainer, Wars: The Force Awakens was the most talked-about movie, and Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Manny Pacquiao were the most talked-about athletes.

For TV it was all about Game of Thrones, with The Walking Dead coming in second. Interestingly, The Walking Dead topped Nielsen Social's list for the most talked-about show on Twitter. Combined - the show is a social TV powerhouse.

Below, Facebook's most talked-about TV shows (globally) followed by a video the company produced highlighting the top stories driving the conversation in 2015:

Game of Thrones

The Walking Dead

The Daily Show

Saturday Night Live

WWE Raw

The Simpsons

19 Kids and Counting

Grey’s Anatomy

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver

Orange is the New Black

As the year draws to a close, we remember what brought us together in 2015, and look forward the connections we'll make in 2016.
