'Gay, straight and bi' Christmas ad from Robert Dyas bewilders viewers
Home appliance store Robert Dyas has left viewers baffled by its Christmas offering - 'We're Robert Dyas and we're gay. And straight. And bi…'.
Released on Thursday (10 December), the campaign sees Robert Dyas staff and customers reveal their sexuality whilst introducing themselves.
The video ends with all of those featured in the video saying in unison: "Robert Dyas: where gays and straights can buy drills, and much, much more."
In 2009, American furniture company Red House released a similar advert instead referring to 'black and white' people instead of 'gays and straights'.
The consensus is the Robert Dyas ad is meant to be a parody.
