Turkish Airlines named official airline partner of Euro 2016
Turkish Airlines has signed a global sponsorship deal to become the ‘official airline partner’ of UEFA Euro 2016, the first carrier to partner with the tournament in its 55-year history.
Under the deal Turkish Airlines will develop a range of exclusive offers and social media campaigns such as special charter rates for teams travelling to France.
M. İlker Aycı, board chairman of Turkish Airlines said: “The partnership with UEFA Euro 2016 is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the very best in European football with fans from all over the world. We very much look forward to the competition and look forward to supporting the Turkish team, and the rest of the competing nations throughout the tournament.”
Guy-Laurent Epstein, marketing director of UEFA Events SA, added: “We are excited to welcome Turkish Airlines on board for UEFA Euro 2016. As Europe’s leading airline they will be able to capitalise on the platform the newly expanded tournament offers, to build on their current success.”

The airline will also rebrand its aircraft with Euro 2016 visuals with prominent branding also on display at stadiums throughout the tournament.
