Santa joins the NBA in ESPN ad
Santa Claus calls a press conference to announce that he’ll join the NBA as a free agent in ESPN’s latest campaign.
The video promotes the five NBA games that will air on ESPN and ABC on Christmas Day.
It’s the first in a series of many that will showcase “what happens when the real MVP of Christmas joins the MBA as a free agent.”
Over the next few weeks, additional videos will roll out featuring Santa’s highlight reel and NBA stars including San Antonio Spurs’ power forward LaMarcus Aldridge, New Orleans Pelicans’ power forward and center Anthony Davis, and Houston Rockets’ shooting guard James Harden.
Created by Wieden + Kennedy New York, the spots plus digital and social elements will run until Christmas Day.
