E-commerce Technology company Ve Interactive acquires part of eBay Enterprise Marketing Solutions

Ve Interactive has continued its global expansion by purchasing display eBay Enterprise Marketing Solutions’ retargeting business.

The acquisition will see Ve, the digital advertising analytics platform for ecommerce, inherit all clients and staff from eBay Enterprise Marketing Solutions, upping their personnel to over 850 and their client base to more than 10,000 online businesses.

The VePlatform, which helps e-comerce businesses improve website performance, display advertising and data processing, will now be offered to all eBay Enterprise Marketing Solution clients. The company offers tools that help clients convert customer interest into purchases through analytics, insights and conversion enhancing apps.

Founded in London, in 2009, Ve is already a global company with 34 offices worldwide, but the acquisition will help Ve expand their platform across the US to the west coast.

David J Brown, chief executive of Ve Interactive, said it was a key acquisition for the company: “eBay Enterprise Display Retargeting’s reach across America gives us a superb platform to grow west from our east coast hub, and we’re delighted to welcome their staff into the business. This is a hugely exciting time for us in the largest digital advertising market in the world.”

Stephen Polinsky, chief operating officer of Ve Interactive North America, praised the “incredible skill set and expertise” of eBay Enterprise’s “world-class digital advertising experts”.

“This transaction led by Ve North America will help accelerate Ve’s growth to combine targeted high-performing advertising solutions with uplifts from website performance software,” he continued. “Ve partners with e-commerce businesses to deliver high quality traffic with guaranteed sales conversions.”
