Gingerbread couple moves from city to suburbs in Trulia’s holiday campaign

Real estate site Trulia has rolled out a holiday Instagram campaign that sees a gingerbread man and his wife make their move from the city to the suburbs before their baby arrives.

Created by Mekanism, the campaign launched earlier this week and will run until Dec. 12. Trulia is chronicling the gingerbread couple’s 12-day house hunting journey on its Instagram account with one post per day.

Followers are encouraged to enter the brand’s ‘#DailyDoughGiveaway’ for a chance to win $2,000 to “sweeten their home.”

‘Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles’ stars James Harris and Davis Parnes are contributing to the campaign by offering tips on holiday entertaining and how to search for a new home on their social accounts.
