Mary Keane-Dawson has joined Neo@Ogilvy as UK managing director.

The founder of How She Made It and Bima’s global ambassador will take up the role on 30 November.

She has been tasked with leading the agency to drive business growth and lead on key client business, reporting to Ogilvy & Mather Group UK chief executive Annette King and Neo@Ogilvy’s global chief, Nasreen Madhany.

King said Keane-Dawson was a proven leader and highly regarded in the UK market.

“During her career she has led agencies, built companies, and advised start-ups. Her deep expertise, fantastic network and strong leadership skills make her the perfect leader to galvanise the Neo team as we move to Sea Containers,” she added.

Keane-Dawson is currently an independent management consultant, specialising in digital talent and brand transformation. However, much of her career has been spent agency-side, most notably as managing director at Steak Media and chief executive at Collective London.

In addition to her duties at Neo, she will continue as Board member of The Mayor of London initiative London Tech Advocates, where she advises policy makers on the development of digital data privacy legislation.
