Garber will be responsible for leading the agency’s EMEA team and will oversee its operations throughout the region. He will be based at the company’s EMEA headquarters in London and will report to chief revenue officer, Greg Glenday.

The former ESPN head led all digital ad sales efforts across the UK, which included ESPN’s programmatic offering, and was instrumental in the restructuring of the broadcaster’s digital ad sales strategy.

Greg Glenday, chief revenue officer, Undertone, said: “I’m really excited to have Rob join our team. He has extensive knowledge of the UK and international market and a strong background in digital advertising. We have had tremendous growth in the EMEA region over the past four years, and I’m looking forward to seeing this continue under Rob’s leadership.”

Garber added: “Undertone has a great reputation in the market. With the company’s investment into new technology and its terrific talent, we are well positioned to give brands exciting opportunities with top-notch customer service. I’m excited to be working with the team in Europe, and across the globe, to further drive international growth.”

Prior to ESPN, Garber was one of the first recruits for LinkedIn EMEA, where he spent four years in their Marketing Solutions team. He has also held roles at Reuters and Media Contacts (now Havas Media).
