UK Top Shazamed Ads: Asda and Fleur East enter the chart with 'Sax'

The Drum's Shazam chart is based on the number of times each ad has been Shazamed over the past week using the music identification app.

Retailers' Christmas spots are taking over The Drum's Shazam chart with new entries from Asda and Boots.

Asda claims the top spot with 'Sax' by 2014 X Factor contestant Fleur East – the score to the supermarket's 'Because it's Christmas' campaign.

The upbeat track has bumped John Lewis and Aurora's cover of 'Half the World Away', featured in 'The Man on the Moon' ad, down to second place.

Meanwhile, Jessie J's version of 'The Man With the Bag' earns Boots eighth place. The star's specially-recorded take on the 1950s jingle appears in the brand's glitzy 'Discover More' film.

Bose, Fallout 4 and Marks and Spencer also made it into the chart this week.
