Live from the classroom: Keep up with Bima Digital Day 2015
Bima's annual Digital Day event takes place today (Tuesday 17 November) at schools across the UK.
Digital Day brings together schools and digital agencies to raise awareness of digital career opportunities as recent research suggests by 2020 the UK will need 2.3m digitally skilled workers. Last night (Monday 16 November) tennis ace Andy Murray lent his support for the initiative sending a good luck message to all involved via his Facebook page.
This year Standard Life, Vodafone and Sony Music have all set briefs for schools with BAE Systems, RKCR, SapientNitro and Ogilvy amongst those taking part.
Ogilvy & Mather Group UK’s vice chairman, Rory Sutherland, is kicking off events at a school in London with Visualise using its 360° live video streaming technology to create a virtual event that will bring Sutherland into over 100 schools.
