Goodby Silverstein & Partners (GS&P) has hired Droga5’s content creative director Mike Long to lead its Comcast/Xfinity account.

While at Droga5, Long helped develop and direct digital content for clients including Diet Coke and Johnsonville. He has also held positions at Saatchi & Saatchi and production company Epoch Films throughout his career.

Of his new position, Long said: “I’ve really loved my time at Droga5, and they’re a great group of people, but I’m excited for a new challenge. I’ve always respected and admired the culture at GS&P and really look forward to working with them. Comcast is an innovative client at the intersection of entertainment, media and technology, and I can’t imagine a more timely opportunity.”

Long will be reporting to GS&P’s executive creative director Margaret Johnson.

GS&P’s other clients include Adobe, Frito-Lay, and the California Milk Processor Board.
