DigitasLBi promotes Matt Steward to UK MD
DigitasLBi has promoted current client partner Matt Steward to the role of managing director of its UK business.
Formerly of RKCR/Y&R, Steward joined DigitasLBi in March 2015 and has worked across a number of the firm's flagship accounts, heading up its client service offering since his arrival.
In his new role he will continue to report in to Michael Islip, who was took up the position of chief executive of the global marketing agency's UK division earlier this year.
Commenting on the appointment Islip said: “We're super excited about Steward taking on this new role. He has first-rate experience of working at the most senior level with some of the most exciting brands in the UK, and is perfectly placed to help drive our business forward.”
Steward asserted that he is looking forward to blending "creativity, technology and data to answer big business challenges for a great client list."
"I’m really looking forward to stepping up and helping our clients deliver some truly transformational work," he added.
