Bluewater has teamed up with 23red to create its Christmas campaign encouraging shoppers to see the season through the eyes of a child.

The 30 second TV ad features a six-year-old girl feeding a carrot to the CGI version of Bluewater’s illuminated reindeer, a figure which appears annually at Bluewater to signify the start of its Christmas period.

Head of marketing at Bluewater, David Wilkinson, said: “Christmas is such a magical time at Bluewater and the giant reindeer have become iconic symbols in recent years. We’re expecting over 27 million visitors this season and we hope that each one feels a sense of joy and begin their own festive traditions.”

The advert was directed by Steve Meredith and will be supported by press, digital, social, radio, outdoor, point of sale and in-mall media running throughout November and December in the south east area.
