Doner has appointed former Addison Lee marketing boss Nick Constantinou as managing director as part of a shakeup of its leadership it hopes will unlock growth opportunities.

He joins the agency’s London team and will report to co-chief executive David DeMuth. It marks Constantinou's return to the agency space after a stint at Addison Lee following his time at Collective London, McCann Erikson and AKQA.

At the taxi firm, Constantinou built and led the marketing and production arm as it looked to expand its range of digital products as well as test customer loyalty initiatives. Prior to that, he was chief executive for Collective London and managing director of McCann Erickson’s London office. His longest stint at an agency to date was at AKQA where he worked for 11 years in a number of roles, including managing the day-to-day running of its London office as well as growing the San Francisco and New York offices.

Constantinou is joined by Logan Wilmont, who has been running his own consultancy, and takes on the role of executive creative director. He will report to co-chief executive and chief creative officer Rob Strasberg. Wilmont has worked for brands including Unilever, Virgin and Volvo during his time at agencies such as Y&R London, Naked Communications and Cheil Worldwide.

“Doner UK is an agency with a truly global sensibility, creative passion and modern approach, all within the Doner culture of moving consumers to action,” said DeMuth. “Nick and Logan’s collective experience delivering world-class solutions and business performance for leading brands is an ideal fit for our clients as we continue to drive superior creativity with a digital core.”

Both Constantinou and Wilmont are tasked with expanding Doner’s global micro network. Andrew Hawkins, Doner London’s managing director will remain with the agency on a consultative basis.
