The Blueprint has launched a dedicated service for advertising, PR and communications agencies to support management teams in re-examining their agencies' strategic direction.

Agency architects: Clyde McKendrick, Gareth Moss and Paul Doran.

Led by founder Gareth Moss and supported by two new strategic consultants, Clyde McKendrick and Paul Doran, The Blueprint’s new Business Design service aims to prepare and navigate agencies for the current and future landscape.

Moss said: "The launch of Business Design is a true reflection of the times we live in the creative agency landscape. Agency change has become an imperative brought about by a range of new market conditions: threats from consulting industries, changing client engagements, blurring of disciplinary lines, the ongoing march of digital and a new generation demanding more from the world of work.

"The impact of these changes runs deep, from reduced profit margins and revenue having to be derived from new sources, to a more global and competitive market. How can advertising, marketing, digital and communications agencies remain relevant? What is the future for groups versus independents versus networks versus management consultants or even Google? What's the future for creativity, for nurturing talent, for remaining relevant? The challenges may sound great but the opportunities for agencies able to adapt are greater."

The Blueprint works with agencies including AMV BBDO, Edelman and R/GA.
