Under Armour has officially named Droga5 as its agency of record after more than two years of working together.

The agency will now handle the brand’s training, basketball, running, global football, and connected fitness advertising in addition to women’s, which it was awarded in September of 2013.

After winning the women’s business, Droga5 created the massively successful ‘I Will What I Want’ campaign featuring ballerina Misty Copeland and model Gisele Bündchen, which won two Gold Lions and the Cyber Grand Prix at the Cannes Lions Festival as well as other awards.

Kevin Plank, founder and CEO of Under Armour, said: "David Droga is a true visionary and is fearless in his pursuit of culturally impactful creative. He and his team at Droga5 have been true partners in helping us elevate and express our own brand story, as we look to inspire athletes all over the world. Together, we have created iconic work and look forward to many more chapters to come.”

Over the summer, Droga5 launched its first work for Under Armour’s training category featuring athletes including Jordan Spieth and Tom Brady along with its first global football effort called ‘Slay Your Next Giant.’

Droga5’s other clients include Heineken, Prudential, and Toyota.
